What is CloudStream

CloudStream is a new open-source movie, TV shows and anime streaming app with lots of unique features. Unlike other streaming apps, CloudStream play movies and TV shows in a single click.

CloudStream provide movies and TV shows in all languages along with subtitle in more than 130 languages. Since it is open-source a lots of new features added daily by other contributors.

Note: CloudStream does not host any content on the app, and has no control over what media is put up or taken down. CloudStream functions like any other search engine, such as Google. CloudStream does not host, upload or manage any videos, films or content. It simply crawls, aggregates and displayes links in a convenient, user-friendly interface.

How to Install CloudStream on Android devices

1. First of all, download the CloudStream APK File from the download button provided below.

2. Now, navigate to the Android settings and tap the Security Option and search for the “Unknown Sources” setting. By turning on the Unknown sources, your Android device will allow this third-party application to get downloaded and install the APK without any difficulties.

3. Once you have turned on the Unknown Source setting, you can start the installation process.

4. Once the installation process is completed, you need to get back to the home screen of your device and tap to open. Now, the application will be opened on your Android device and you are now ready to access it in order to choose any of the videos to watch in different categories without paying a single penny.

Install CloudStream on Windows/PC

You can install the app using an emulator or the Windows Subsystem for Android. To install it via an emulator, follow these steps:

1. Go to the official website of an emulator like BlueStacks or Gameloop.

2. Download and install the emulator on your PC.

3. Visit our website and download the latest Cloud Stream APK file.

4. Once downloaded, locate the APK file on your computer.

5. Right-click the file and choose “Open with BlueStacks” (or your chosen emulator).

6. The Cloud Stream app will begin installing automatically.

7. After installation, launch the app and enjoy streaming your favorite movies and TV shows.

Install CloudStream on FireStick/FireTV

To install the Cloud Stream app on your FireStick or Fire TV Stick, follow these steps:

1. Go to Settings on your FireStick and select About.

2. Choose Fire TV Stick and click it seven times to enable Developer Mode.

3. Return to the previous menu and open Developer Options.

4. Enable Apps from Unknown Sources.

5. Go back to the home screen, select Find, then search for Downloader.

6. Install the Downloader App from the results.

7. Launch Downloader and enter our website URL or use the code 3850517.

8. Download the Cloud Stream APK and follow the prompts to install it.

9. Once installed, open the app and start streaming your favorite content.

Install CloudStream on Android TV/Smart TV

There are several ways to install the Cloud Stream app on Android TV, Smart TV, or Google TV. In this guide, we’ll show you how to install it using the Downloader App. For other installation methods, check our full article.

1. Turn on your TV and open the Google Play Store.

2. Search for the Downloader App, then download and install it.

3. Go to Settings > Device Preferences > Security & Restrictions, and enable Unknown Sources for the Downloader App.

4. Launch the Downloader App, then either enter our website URL or use the code 532423.

5. Download the Cloud Stream APK and follow the on-screen instructions to install it.

Once done, open the app and start streaming your favourite shows and movies.

How to Use CloudStream?

Step 01: Launch the App

Open the Cloud Stream app and choose your preferred language.

Click “Next” when prompted to install site repositories.

Select your preferred media type and app layout, then click “Next” again.

Step 02: Add Repository & Extensions

Tap the Settings icon located at the bottom-right corner.

Go to Extensions > Add Repository.

Enter a repository name (optional), the URL or shortcode, and click “Add Repository.”

A warning popup will appear—click “Open Repository.”

Browse the list of available extensions and tap the download icon to install the ones you want.

💡 Tip: You can also use the “Direct Install” button for a quicker setup.

Step 03: Select and Play

From the Home screen, click “None” and choose your desired extension.

Each icon displays a flag indicating the content language and subtitle availability.

Once selected, you’ll see various categories like movies, TV shows, anime, and web series based on that extension.

Browse by genre, select your favorite title, and hit “Play.”

You can also view summaries, cast info, and storylines for each title.

Step 04: Search & Download

For a broader search across all installed extensions, use the Search option at the bottom of the home screen.

To download content for offline viewing, click the Download button.

Use the Search icon at the top left to look for content within a specific extension.

CloudStream FAQs

1 – Can I Integrate a third-party video player with CloudStream APK?

Although the app comes with an inbuilt player, but you can use any other streaming player with CloudStream app such as VLC, MX player etc

2 – “Install Blocked” error; How to fix?

If you have missed toggling ON the option of Unknown Sources, the “Install Blocked” error will pop-up. Just toggle ON the option and retry installation.

3 – Does CloudStream APK contain ads?

No, CloudStream is free from ads, you can always watch your favorite movie, TV show or anime without having annoying ads

4 – Can I install CloudStream APK on Android TV?

As of now, the application is not compatible with Android TV. Hopefully, the same will be taken care of in the next update.

5 – Does CloudStream App uses torrents?

The application doesn’t utilize a P2P connection or torrent. All the links are brought from established streaming sites.
